The term Bowie is typically synonymous with this shape, this Baby Bowie EDC also has a slight re curve in the grind allowing for use on tasks that would not be as easy with other grinds. This knife also sports clean thumb jimping on the spine for positive thumb placement as well as a black 550 cord lanyard pull to assist
This Baby Bowie EDC is stock removal from D2 steel with a hollow grind and full tang polished finish to assist with ease of care. The handle is constructed from Crosscut Natural Micarta with blue G10 Liners with 1/8 inch brass pins securing the handle to the knife. Full tang. 3 1/4 inch blade, 3/32 inch spine, 7 1/8 inches overall. D2 steel. Stock removal. Hollow Ground.
It comes with a brown wet formed leather drop sheath that has great retention on the knife, made by the maker.
About the Maker: Ryan Hight is an Arkansas native and has been smithing for over two years. His love for knives began as a child and making them has proven to be great therapy. He marks each knife with his favorite Bible verse - Proverbs 27:17 - and hopes it inspires others to dig into their Bible too.
