Our hand-dyed challah covers are lovingly made with native plants. These one-of-a-kind beautiful challah covers make a meaningful gift and will be the centerpiece of the Shabbat table week after week for years to come.

Using dyes made from native herbs, wildflowers, berries, and vegetables, each challah cover is hand-dyed and then uniquely imprinted with leaves and flowers from our farm and from flowers around the Cedarvale neighbourhood. 

The blue-hued challah covers are dyed using purple cabbage. The yellow ones are dyed using turmeric. The beige/natural-coloured ones are undyed. The challah covers are all made with muslin cotton fabric and linen.

CARE INSTRUCTIONS: Hand wash separately using cold water and gentle detergent. Lay flat to dry. Some colour may fade slightly with first wash due to natural dyes used. Store out of the sun or bright light.
