At the time of his unexpected death in 2016, Ridley was editor-in-chief of the alt-weekly Nashville Scene, the paper where his incisive, wide-ranging film reviews won him a devoted readership beginning in 1989. People Only Die of Love in Movies takes its title from a line in the 1964 movie musical The Umbrellas of Cherbourg, the subject of one of Ridley's best-known pieces, included in this volume. In all, the anthology collects nearly one hundred of Ridley's film reviews, essays, and journalistic works, expertly organized by editor Steve Haruch into writing by film genre (e.g., Westerns, the Nouvelle Vague), cinematic theme (e.g., heroes, sexuality), and writing style (e.g., negative reviews, narrative journalism) to demonstrate Ridley's range. Exactly what I was looking for.

Although other reviews found this item was too lightweight and flimsy, frankly it was exactly what I was looking for. I needed to partition my workspace off from the rest of the room and I wanted something that I could easily attach to the back of an unfinished bookcase as part of creating a private space. It was perfect. Lightweight easy to handle and I didn't mind putting some nails through it. Great price point for what I needed.

Seems fairly sturdy ( 3 panel white) but made with extremely cheap materials that will not last. The cheap materials are very noticeable with the white screen. No assembly needed. Would not but again.

Beautiful brown privacy screen!

Why did you pick this product vs others?:
The measurements were perfect for what I was looking for. The length and width are the same as my rattan raised garden bed which I have placed in front of the screen on the deck. This secures the screen so there is no issue of weather conditions. I have been looking for weeks for a privacy screen at every possible product and combination. and almost gave up when I noticed the measurements of the screen would fit behind my raised bed! Now I am going to plant some flowers in it. This is a terrific buy for me. i am so happy!

No assembly which is nice in this hot weather!

Love it it was perfect for what I needed it for. Good quality!

It like a very dark chocolate brown/black. What I liked most about it is that you just pull it out of the box take the long plastic film off of it and it's ready to go. It has protective feet on the bottom. It's very attractive and it was so easy. It's so nice when you have a product you don't have to assemble.
