The cask was reserved in April 2019 by Sarah Burgess for inclusion in the prestigious ESC series. Bottled in August of that year at a natural cask strength of 56.7% abv, just 606 bottles have been produced. The nose has sweet cherry and oak notes, with vanilla, ginger spice and figs all emerging. The palate brings a sweet raisin influence from the sherry butt, with an oak spice and nutmeg complementing ginger and chocolate notes. The finish is medium length with oak spice developing into a lingering sweetness.
