This statue portrays the White Umbrella Goddess, showcasing one of her many intricate forms, notably the most representative! The Goddess appears with a serene expression, depicted by skilled artisans who have meticulously crafted her delicate features. Adorned with a five-leaf crown atop a high bun, her flowing hair adds to her divine presence. She is depicted with a slender waist and adorned throughout with necklaces, earrings, bracelets, and other ornaments. The intricate patterns of her attire are elegantly portrayed with flowing lines that drape gracefully over her shoulders and arms.
In her left hand, she forms the gesture of teaching (dharmachakra mudra), rather than the conventional holding of an umbrella. Her right hand rests on her right knee. Seated in full lotus position on a lotus pedestal, the double-tiered inverted lotus throne beneath her features neatly arranged petals, adorned with continuous bead patterns along the edges, highlighting its sturdy and exquisite craftsmanship.
Crafted from fine alloy bronze, meticulously polished to preserve its original mineral colors, this statue exemplifies precision casting and craftsmanship. It exudes the distinct charm of Tibetan artistry, making it a rare and exquisite masterpiece. Its beauty reflects the devotion of skilled artisans to the ancient and sacred art of sculpture.
