Introducing the EHEIM biopower, a groundbreaking internal filter that sets a new standard in performance. This innovative product features a fully rotatable pump head, modular design, and several advanced functionalities derived from the aquaball concept. What makes biopower truly exceptional is its multilayer filtration system, mirroring the efficiency of an external filter.

The enclosed filter baskets are filled with highly effective filter media, such as SUBSTRATpro. At the bottom, you'll find the inlet basket equipped with a filter cartridge for mechanical-biological prefiltration. Water is drawn in from the bottom, pumped through various filter layers, and then returned to the aquarium after thorough filtration. There are three models available, catering to aquariums ranging from 80 to 240 liters.

The aquaball concept combines external filter technology with multi-layer filtration, which ensures water at the bottom is effectively pumped to the top through diverse filter layers before being released back into the tank. The sealed filter baskets come preloaded with EHEIM SUBSTRATpro, but you also have the option to use other filter media. The inlet basket contains a filter cartridge specifically designed for mechanical-biological prefiltration, while a filter pad in the pump head adds another layer of filtration.

With the ability to add or remove filter modules (filter baskets), you can easily customize the filter volume to suit your needs. To enhance the filter’s functionality, consider the ExtensionSET2. The filter baskets feature a user-friendly Easy-Klick Locking System, making them simple to attach and detach. Thanks to the modular design, you can clean the filter cartridges or media at various intervals to maintain healthy bacteria cultures.

The spherical pump head is mounted in a ball socket, allowing it to rotate freely. This feature lets you direct the flow of filtered water in any desired direction. You can adjust the pump output and flow rate using the control knob located on the outflow nozzle. The power-diffuser is designed to regulate air intake, enhancing oxygen levels in the aquarium. (Other extension pieces can be used in place of the diffuser; please see accessories.) The biopower holder attaches effortlessly to the glass with suction cups, and the filter can be easily removed for cleaning, module replacement, or media replenishment.

A Beta Worth Rooting For
Format: Kindle
In Spare, Violet Fox flips the omegaverse on its head, giving us a Beta heroine determined to make her mark. Joining the Beta Trials to support her sick father, she's thrown into a pack that doesn't want her, especially the possessive Alphas. But here's the twist: their sweet Omega turns out to be her scent match. Cue the angst, forbidden tension, and a slow-burn romance that will make your heart ache in the best way. Violet Fox delivers an emotional, refreshing take on the genre, proving Betas aren't "spares." They're stars.

Beta, Alpha, Omega oh my!
Format: Kindle
Omegas are precious and given to Alphas & their packs... but the Betas want in too. To this end, the Beta government is rolling out its trial of assigning a Beta to each Alpha-Omega pack. But forcing a Beta into a pack where they are not wanted will not end well... Of course, no one expected the Omega to fall for the assigned Beta. Great read and cliffhanger

A familiar story, just with…..less.
Format: Kindle
So, as other reviewers make clear, this is very similar to Pack Darling and The Beta. It’s much closer aligned with The Beta, in plot and maybe more like Pack Darling with characters. That being said, I don’t hate this…..but it wasn’t great either. It’s both books mentioned but just….less. Less angst, less emotion, less feeling. The plot feels very half fleshed out, and the “bad guy” feels underwhelming. I didn’t really feel any real emotions from and of the male leads, except maybe Oliver. The others fell sorta flat for me. And Mika makes herself out to be this big bad ass straight outta training and then we never see it from here again with the one fitting room incident as the exception. SPOILER: The whole, “Oh, I’m actually probably an Omega, but I don’t wanna be but I do actually wanna be but no one can ever know my secret that I do nothing to hide “ thing fell so flat. She never commutes to believing she was secretly an omega, but also mentions her “secret” a lot. It just felt so manufactured. I’m intrigued enough to read part 2 and see how the author closes everything out, but this is not one I’ll recommend or ever come back to.

Good start to a series
Format: Kindle
I delayed reading the series for reasons I don’t remember. But my TBR list is huge so I thought I’d take a shot of this and I was pleasantly surprised. I didn’t think the blurb about it was anything special. But it was a very good book. It took some interesting twists and turns. I am so glad the second book is already out. Because I would not have waited patiently. Very slow burn but good storyline. 🔥🔥/5

A good read
Format: Kindle
Multiple points of view. 3 Alpha men and an Omega male. She is a Beta in training for a new program placing betas in Alpha/Omega packs. Mila is only doing the program for the money to take care of her dad. She wasn't expecting to fall for a pack but when she sees this packs Omega she is done for. There is just something about him. His Alphas are good looking as well. Too bad she is hiding a secret and their government is acting shady. I liked it and can't wait to see where their story goes.
