The handbook includes sections on grammar and vocabulary as well as useful phrases and military words as it was designed to help both the British officers and the Assyrians better understand one another. Included are three additional publications of the press: a first Assyrian reader (1928), a second Assyrian reader (1924) and the Assyrian Teacher, a reader written by Binyamin Arsanis (1925).
