These coilovers include springs and are designed to run OEM top mounts. In this set front and rear dampers utilize a coilover design. By choosing this design you prioritize adjustability and the performance of your car. Coilovers which will offer more adjustability for both damping settings and ride height, and typically provide more consistent and predictable handling characteristics. The initial setup for setting and spring rates is rooted in our extensive development and testing process. Individual preferences can easily be fine-tuned by making adjustments to the rebound knob or altering the ride height. You can adjust the rebound, means you can control the return to extension of your dampers, enabling you to attain the ideal road balance tailored to your specific requirements. With 12 distinct positions to choose from, each adjustment delivers distinct feedback and a unique driving experience. AST Suspension is a monotube design. This is a benefit for you because these dampers offer a large piston to control the adjustability of rebound damping. There is no aeration or foaming in monotube dampers, this will result in a more responsive valving. AST high pressure dampers offers additional resistance, based on the driving conditions. Great item, BUT…

Do I love it? Yes.
Is it well made? It certainly appears to be.
Is the leather thick? Yes, I’d say definitely thick and sturdy.
Do I like the color (Bootlegger Brown)? Of course I do, it’s gorgeous.
It seems very well made. The corners are secured with black fasteners, which I think are going to better than the buttons in the long run that I’ve seen on others. It’s was this brand, or Hide and Drink for me. I went with these guys because it’s U.S. made, and hopefully American sourced leather.
I bought the Large. My concern was that the XL might be too large for my nightstand. I measured it out and everything. However, I was not counting on the length and width to be measured from the end of the pinched corners, so I was a little disappointed about the size of the useable surface area. It’s not a big deal, but I wish that I’d have just spent the extra $5 and got the XL. If I we’re to get another, I definitely go with the XL unless you just want something on the smallish side, but still I suspect that they are larger that what most others are offering. At least these guys give you a choice of options.

It holds all my gear and looks fantastic!!

I wanted something to hold EVERYTHING. In the pic - 2 wallets, tactical flashlight, 2 personal bluetooth speakers, 2 pairs of Beats, chap stick, pocketknife. Missing are my reading glasses but they typically will fit in there too even in their protective sleeve. This would make a great gift and the leather is excellent feel and look. This is the Extra Large size and i am happy i went with the bigger one as i almost didnt. Wife thought it was a great purchased but mad that she didnt get the chance to gift it to me for Father's Day or birthday!! LOL
