Grown Aster is telling her daughter Emmy the story of the sunflower seed which then helps Aster tell Emmy she is going to be a big sister. The story comes full circle with Aster watching Emmy plant a sunflower seed for herself and her baby brother. Not only does the seed represent new life, it also represents patience, but most of all it it's a visual representation of the seeds that God plants in our hearts
