This bass heavy and potent collection features the key Peruvian producers and DJs that have helped build Lima's reputation as 'jewel in the crown' of South America's rave & party scenes. Tropical bass artists like Dengue Dengue Dengue, DJ Chakruna, Animal Chuki and Deltatron have long been guided by the roots of chicha and Peruvian cumbia. This sees them reshape and digitally render the original sounds fashioning new cuts inspired by dubstep, techno, trap, grime, house and electronica all aimed squarely at the dancefloor. Detroit has techno, Chicago has house, and Peru's DJs and producers consider Lima as the home of Tropical Bass. A global and amorphous style of music that has producers, DJs and flagbearers from various corners of the world from South Africa and Angola's Kudoro scenes to the Baile Funk parties of Brazil, international DJs like Diplo, Switch and labels like Mad Decent have long been absorbing and redefining the sound. Electronic music made in Peru is often influenced by the national music style 'Cumbia', a slow and syncopated style of music full of complex rhythms. Lima is the central meeting point for all of Peru's Andean, African and European cultures and this is reflected by the varied music blaring out from speakers around the city. With an admirable respect for labels like Infopesa, the most influential label in '60s & '70s Peru for chicha and Peruvian Cumbia, the artists of today bring traditional and once popular sounds bang up to date, creating a new history influenced by urban Lima. Peru Boom is the third compilation released on Tiger's Milk (in conjunction with Strut). Following hot on the heels of the 1960's jazz and '70s funk of Peru Bravo and Peru Maravilloso, this marks a new departure for the label, bringing things bang up to date with the latest electronic sounds. Martin Morales, co-founder of Tiger's Milk Records first took inspiration for the project at a life changing rave in Lima 3 years ago thrown by Dengue Dengue Dengue. The album cover is a commissioned work by top Peruvian artist Ruta Mare. The design combines '80s electronica with bold colours relative to the tropical bass scene and will look even better on physical CD and LPs

Faulty Trigger
This was the 3rd of 4 B & D Weed Trimmer's I have purchased in the past 4 months. My first B & D Weed Trimmer was purchased 3 years ago. The Trigger finally gave out. Every B & D Weed Trimmer has had a faulty trigger. They give out just past the 30 day return window - trying to get B & D to cover it on their warranty website is ridiculous! No one at Amazon knows anything either. So you either buy another or go to Ryobi...because you cant find any decent replacement blades for it either.

Quick, powerful, and easy to use
Style: 2 x 2.0Ah
When my wife and I bought our latest home, I got bitten by the battery-powered lawn equipment bug. Because our lawn is a lot smaller and flatter than our last home, I refrained from having landscapers regularly maintain this new lawn. This means I now have every piece of equipment one could possibly want to keep our yard looking beautiful
Before purchasing this last item for our lawn, I was using a weed whacker to do the edging. This was tedious and not very precise. Because I have all Greenworks-branded equipment, this edger was a no-brainer.
Even though most of our battery-operated lawn equipment uses 60v batteries, I opted for this smaller dual-battery setup to save a little weight and money. Because of the small battery sizes, the edger is perfectly balanced and not one bit unwieldy.
I am able to quickly clear all of our sidewalk, lanai, and driveway surface edges within minutes.
Up to this point, I had never used an edger before. It literally took less than 30 seconds to get it buzzing correctly along the surface edges of our property. If not trying to do a large commercial area, this edger will probably work for most residential applications. Quickly and easily.

It's a beast and you can add attachments to, like a brush cutter head.
Style: 16" (2 x 4Ah)
This thing is a beast of a battery powered machine. I wouldn't put it completely up against my gas. It is much better than the Greenworks 24V 13-Inch Brushless String Trimmer (Gen 2), 4.0Ah USB Battery and Charger Included that I had purchased this time last year. I have several gas so I only really needed a light duty one to do the fence line and around the house. The main issue with the 13 inch was that the auto feed bump mechanism was worthless. It also uses very thin lines so very quickly you go from 13 inches to 6 to 8. and the bump feed does not work even with greenworks replacement spools. You get twice the batteries and a dual rapid charger for $50 more. You couldn't even buy the battery for that much.
onto this thing. Love the dual string heavy-duty string mechanism. Love the fact that you can remove the trimmer head and add an attachment. I have attachments from my gas Trimmers and they work perfectly. My brush head attachment utterly devastated thick bramble from an overgrown lot. The best part is it took me two hours to get my stored gas trimmers to run properly which I don't have to do with a battery operated device. No gas flying that deteriorated or primer bubbles that have burst followed spark plugs Stale gas . Just throw the batteries on and you're off.
Nothing long-term to report, only had it a week. Used it enough to run down completely six sets of batteries.
