Extended Broadcast Range — Not the Standard Whip Antenna
Most base/rover kits ship with a basic radio whip antenna that's adequate for short-range work. This kit includes a complete long-range radio antenna setup — high-gain antenna, mounting hardware, and all the cables needed to elevate the broadcast antenna above ground-level obstructions. The result is meaningfully extended RTK range, especially on larger sites or in environments with line-of-sight challenges.
This is a significant value-add — long-range antenna kits typically run several hundred dollars when purchased separately, and most contractors don't realize they need one until their corrections drop out at the far end of the site.
Choose Your Base Radio — UHF or 900 MHz
The receivers in this kit ship with your choice of internal radio. Pick the band that matches your existing infrastructure or the regulatory environment where you'll work.
UHF (410–470 MHz)
Longer-range RTK broadcasting, established standard for survey crews. Works through moderate vegetation and over hills. Most common choice for surveyors and engineers. Requires FCC license in most regions.
900 MHz Spread Spectrum
License-free in the US — plug and play, no FCC paperwork required. Excellent line-of-sight performance for open construction sites. Popular with contractors and grading crews.

The receivers, Zephyr Model 3 antenna, controller, software license, batteries, charger, long-range radio antenna kit, whip antenna, cables, and all other components ship worldwide. Tripods and rods are widely available locally in most regions.
