At first intended as personal reference material in his work as sculptor and teacher, the remarkable nature photographs of Karl Blossfeldt (1865-1932) attained critical acclaim in 1928 when he published Urformen der Kunst (Archetypes of Art). His work influenced and helped to establish modern German photography. While the style of the time was soft-focus, impressionistic photographs, Blossfeldt's purpose governed his photographic method and resulting magnificent prints: direct lighting to define form, sharp focus to expose detail and texture, enlarging up to 27 times actual size to reveal structure that previously was invisible or overlooked by the naked eye.His subject matter ― the leaves, buds, stems, seed pods, tendrils, and twigs of plant life ― sparkles with an honest simplicity and clarity that discloses not only the wonder and science of nature, but also the distinct similarities between the form developed by nature and that produced by man. In the infinite variety of form in the plant world, Blossfeldt found many examples of shape and structure that, when photographed his way, resemble the forms of man's artistic (particularly architectural) styles ― from Gothic through Art Nouveau. His images imply that man's art mirrors nature and suggest that nature, in its continuous reproduction and adaptation, also creates its own art.
Blossfeldt's exquisite and historically important photographs continue to be prominently exhibited and acclaimed throughout the world. Painstakingly reproduced for this edition, his 120 unretouched plates will delight artists and illustrators, naturalists and philosophers, photographers, and anyone who is intrigued by the beauty, form, and design of nature.

HP G5 Dock Mount
Works as advertised! I purchased this as a test piece for our office supplied computers. It frees up space in the desk nd hides unsightly cords from view. I have it wall mounted behind the monitors and am very pleased thus far!

Necessity
After the disorganization of my working space drove me crazy, I did an overhaul. This was one of the additions that I bought to not only give me more space but also allow for better cable management. I mounted mine under my desk, which let me contain the cable chaos beneath the desk.

Fits great.
Multiple iterations of this dock have wires coming out both the front and back, making it ugly on the desk and no way to hide wires well. Mounting under the desk with this helped a ton, looks way better. Perfect fit.

High-quality, high-value
Color: Black, Size: Fits Desk Leg: 80mm(D) x 50mm(W)
I was looking for something similar for my Uplift Desk for a long time, and gave up until I built a new computer and had a reason to resume the search. Seriously, this desk mount is top-tier; I'm coming out of a long drought to review this product.
The build quality, strength and stability is impressive, and assembly is easy. I'm confident that the stand could hold my body weight, let alone a computer. The appearance of the finish is high-quality, and color matches the coated steel frame of the Uplift desk flawlessly.
In terms of possible areas of improvement, I'd love to see a tighter vertical fitment of the top bracket's sliding arm, and I'd love if there were more rubber anti-slip pads and spacers of different shapes and sizes included. I ended up double-stacking the anti-slip pads, using superglue to adhere them to each other, to give my PC more breathing room on its underside.
I'd also love to have the option to select different sizes of base plates.
