Introducing the Percussion Plus mobile instrument trolley

Percussion Plus's PP234 music trolley offers convenient mobile classroom percussion instrument storage. Ideal for storing musical instruments, it features 3 wire frame shelves for plenty of accessible space, and lockable metal-covered castors allowing for easy mobility on a variety of floor surfaces. A long handle on one end makes it especially easy to reposition the trolley wherever you need it to be.

Made in the UK, these trolleys are built to last with all of the parts welded strongly together so there’s no assembly required. This means you can use it right away without needing to fiddle around with screws. Designed with classrooms in mind, the frame has rounded edges to enhance child-safety credentials.

Providing three levels of storage, the PP234 allows you to methodically organise your instruments or other classrooms accessories into separate shelves. The lower two are flat wire mesh shelves with walls, and the top level is V-shaped and plastic-coated, giving you that extra bit of security and depth for more precious or unusually shaped items.

Storage for any classroom

The three shelves are ideal for storing different types of equipment. For instance, some use the top V-shaped level for percussion instruments which come in various shapes and sizes. The lower flat shelves can store all sorts of different items, including mini-whiteboards, headphones, speakers, Nuvo plastic woodwind and even art equipment or sports kit. You can also easily place boxes on them for more convenient categorisation. Another great option for this is the Percussion Plus PP1057, which features integrated trays on the lower shelves.

Bare wire can be intolerable to work with. Banana plugs make a positive secure connection. These plugs are a touch bulky. Nice to not have to deal with small screws. Use as large of gauge wire as possible. The description says no unintentional disconnections. I beg to differ the bite of teeth aren’t as good as described. Used a 16 gauge pure copper speaker wire and a teenager taught me how secure the wire really is by tugging on the wire not the banana plug pulling the wire free. It does the job, it’s not the latest and greatest. If you need easy get these. If you want slim secure banana plugs buy the small screw type.

Fantastic speaker plug at a great price!
Size: 5 Pack, Pattern Name: Banana Plugs
This is a product that gets the job done effectively, and at a good price. Banana plugs are used to clean up speaker wire - you can generally screw in speaker wire, but banana plugs provide a nice interface that allows you to plug in and remove speaker wire as needed. These closed plugs do a good job terminating / hiding the wire. They fit very well into various components and amps that I own. INSTRUCTIONS to install / use them: * Remove around 1" - 2" of the white casing to expose the red and white individual speaker wires * Strip each wire so ~1/2" metal is showing * Make sure the plug end is screwed in tightly (this does not need to come out) * Unscrew the base of the plug from the other end * WithOUT twisting the metal wiring, insert the wire (match wire color with plug color; start with either one) from the bottom of the plug until the metal sticks out the top * Have ~1/4" metal hanging past the plug * take the wiring and drape it down the sides of the plug (just the smooth side, do NOT cover any of the screw threading or it will be very hard to close it) * Spread the draped wiring around the plug as evenly as possible (makes it easier to screw in later) * Screw the two ends of the plug back together (the side with the draped wiring will go inside the plug) * If you get stuck while screwing it back in, unscrew and adjust the wiring * Repeat for the other side, and you're done!
