Display, illuminate, heat and protect pre-cooked food with CED's rectangular shaped Kubus assisted service heated deli drop in display. This 4/1 GN size hot display features a stainless steel heated 4/1 GN well area, inclined for improved customer vision. An adjustable temperature heated midshelf at eye level offers further hot merchandising space. The display fits into a pre-formed cut out made in a countertop . The assisted service superstructure is made from bright polished steel and aluminium rectangular profiles, with flat & toughened full height front and side glass. The front glass tilts forward on a locking hinge, for effortless cleaning access. Product illumination/ surface heat is provided by infra red quartz heat lamps, housed in the rectangular profile gantry & midshelf Base heat and surface heat can be adjusted & 'locked' from the operator side of the gantry, by digital temperature display ( control panel ) and adjustable dimmer switches, mounted at eye level on operator side of the display. The display has 24 hour operation & is factory set to hold food core at 85°C. Modular heater mat elements under the heated well area give even heat spread & the steel presentation surface makes for easier cleaning of pastry products etc. The display comes complete with lifting kit for installation and is supplied with a concealed control box & 2M flexible electrical conduit for hard wiring to a 3.8KW/20a/230v electrical supply. So, as other reviewers make clear, this is very similar to Pack Darling and The Beta. It’s much closer aligned with The Beta, in plot and maybe more like Pack Darling with characters. That being said, I don’t hate this…..but it wasn’t great either. It’s both books mentioned but just….less. Less angst, less emotion, less feeling. The plot feels very half fleshed out, and the “bad guy” feels underwhelming. I didn’t really feel any real emotions from and of the male leads, except maybe Oliver. The others fell sorta flat for me. And Mika makes herself out to be this big bad ass straight outta training and then we never see it from here again with the one fitting room incident as the exception. SPOILER: The whole, “Oh, I’m actually probably an Omega, but I don’t wanna be but I do actually wanna be but no one can ever know my secret that I do nothing to hide “ thing fell so flat. She never commutes to believing she was secretly an omega, but also mentions her “secret” a lot. It just felt so manufactured. I’m intrigued enough to read part 2 and see how the author closes everything out, but this is not one I’ll recommend or ever come back to.
