Sony’s highly regarded TA-AN1000 AV amplifier features a range of object-based, 3D surround formats, maximising the full potential of whatever speaker configuration you have. The most commonly used surround sound format is Dolby Atmos, this impressive technology delivers truly immersive cinematic sound, particularly when with ceiling or up-firing speakers where you will benefit from vivid, overhead effects as well as the usual surround sound effects. When it’s not possible to use a multi-speaker array, however, Dolby Atmos Height Virtualisation will simulate this three dimensional effect, without the need for overhead speakers.

Compatible with latest HDMI specs

The TA-AN1000 features 6 HDMI inputs, two of which support 4K/120Hz which is perfect for the latest generation games consoles and other high frame rate devices. Support for VRR (Variable Refresh Rate) ensures the best resolution and clarity whilst Auto Low Latency Mode (ALLM) helps eliminate lag and frame tearing, giving you a smoother, more responsive gaming experience. This receiver also supports 8K video, providing a little future proofing.
