The Nissin C-16 is a rare and unique keytar-style sampler synthesiser, produced in the 1980s as a special edition of the Casio SK-1. This limited-edition instrument was created as a promotional item by Nissin, the company famous for its Cup Noodles, and was not available for retail purchase. It features a distinctive hand grip and branding with the "Cup Noodle Digital Synthesizer" logo.
Functionally, the C-16 mirrors the capabilities of the Casio SK-1. It boasts 32 mini keys and offers 4-note polyphony. The sampler operates at 8-bit PCM with a sample rate of 9.38 kHz, allowing for up to 1.4 seconds of sampling time. Additional features include built-in effects such as portamento and vibrato, sample looping, and an internal speaker. Sampling can be performed via the built-in microphone or through a line-level input.

- This unit shows a small amount of general wear from use and age. This includes some marks, nicks and scratches. The keys have turned a cream colour. There is nothing major at all. Overall it is a nice piece. Please see photos.
- This unit has been tested and is working as it should.
- The C-16 powers on with a 7.5V power supply or 5 x AA batteries. (Neither are included in the sale)
- This sale is for the C-16 only. Nothing else is included in this sale.
