Airtec Motorsport enclosed intake kit voor de Ford Fiesta ST Mk8, ontwikkeld voor sportief straatgebruik en track use waarbij maximale airflow en lage inlaattemperaturen centraal staan.

Deze complete enclosed intake kit vervangt het originele inlaatsysteem door een veel efficiëntere oplossing die zorgt voor meer airflow, betere throttle response, een sportiever induction-geluid en een strakkere uitstraling in de motorruimte.

De kit is volledig ontwikkeld bij AIRTEC HQ in het Verenigd Koninkrijk en maakt gebruik van een grote vrij stromende cotton air filter die is ondergebracht in een speciaal ontworpen driedelige airbox. Hierdoor blijft de filter beschermd tegen warme lucht uit de motorruimte.

Om heat soak zoveel mogelijk te beperken, maakt het systeem gebruik van laser gesneden hitteschilden en een constante toevoer van koude lucht via de originele front intake van de auto.

De kit wordt geleverd inclusief een aluminium intake pipe, alle bevestigingsmaterialen en een duidelijke montagehandleiding. Montage gebeurt volledig bolt-on zonder boor- of snijwerk.

Optioneel is er een extra secondary cold air feed beschikbaar. Deze zorgt voor een tweede toevoer van koude lucht vanuit de grille richting de airbox. In combinatie met de Airtec Stage 3 intercooler kan deze aangesloten worden op de speciale Stage 3 cold air feed duct.

Let op: bij montage van de optionele Pro Hoses siliconen slang moet de ECU-bout worden aangepast.

Hard to say if genuine or faux.

I was really debating between two brands and decided to get this one since it had more good sounding reviews. I received it and now I'm not 100% sure if this is REAL sheep or just a really well done Faux. I trimmed a few pieces from this rug and my Faux one I got from ROSS and they both bubbled up exactly the same way when burned...But the rug I got from Ross is so much softer and smoother, but the backing is different in the Ross one and definitely a cotton material compared to this Amazon one which is slightly stiff but more suede looking. I also felt a real sheep rug earlier this week (and was what made me interested in buying one—but I wasn't interested in the price tag of the one from the store I found. However, the one at the store even had a tag on the corner stating "Genuine New Zealand Sheep Skin"). I just wish this had a stamp or tag somewhere or something on the piece stating it's "Genuine" like most authentic leather/fur goods have. It is fluffy and soft—but so is my faux rug from ROSS. This piece does have those curls/coils that make it seem more dense and like an actual sheep's coat. It might just be a REALLY low quality product that they're trying to market in an enticing manner. Even the backing looks like cheap cardboard like someone else stated. Either way, most likely keeping it since the price was alot less than the cost of the one I found at the store and I like the creamy beige color I ordered because it gives a more natural look than the stark white fur I originally found. Regardless, it's for my Dog, so I'm not too bothered and if it gets messed up and mangled it won't be such a big deal. Odor in the one I got just smelled like a sheep that's been in the sun all day and dissipated pretty quickly/got covered up once I sprayed it with my dog's fragrance/refresh spray. Creased up from the packaging but nothing a little brushing and shaking couldn't fix. I hope this helped inform you before you purchased. PS: They did send samples of a "Faux" Fur AND "Real" Fur which I thought was kind of neat but the sample coulda been from an actual good quality real fur compared to what they sent...Who knows?
