The Maton Guitars EMD-6 Mini Diesel is Maton's best selling "Mini" series guitar. The Sitka and Blackwood tonewood combination is tough to beat and the amber sunburst finish gives this guitar its own sexy look. The diesel has been used by players all over the world & is often employed to be used with loop stations, largely due to its size & AP5 Pro Pickup system. Maton's most recent upgrade to the mini series is their double X bracing design. This revolutionary top brace pattern allows the mini guitars to get louder and more powerful even with their smaller body design.
Not only is this Maton Mini acoustically competitive to a larger body guitar, it also features Maton's proprietary pickup system, the AP5 Pro. The AP5 Pro is the best acoustic pickup system in the world and features a cardioid microphone (on an adjustable arm) combined with an undersaddle piezo that blend together to create an authentic (yet very customizable) acoustic guitar sound!
