Stealth monotube shocks are built with a 46mm diameter high flow piston and vehicle specific valving, for a great ride with oversized tires. Each Stealth shock absorber has a free floating piston that separates the nitrogen gas charge from the oil to reduce shock fade in offroad conditions. All Stealth shock absorbers feature Nitrocarburized piston rods that are superior to chromed rods in durability and corrosion resistance. These "Nitrocarb" piston rods are finished in matte black for a complete "black out" shock package. - Monotube construction. - 50mm OD seamless steel body. - 46mm High flow piston for best ride. - Vehicle specific valving designed for oversized tires. - Full floating piston separates gas from oil for a consistent ride. - 14mm Nitrocarb piston rod resists rock chips and corrosion. - All black finish with raised nameplate as a signature of quality.This Part Fits:

The product is good and contrary to some comments I read it was not a mess to install and went on very nicely. That said I placed on a 71 Baracudda and starting from a 71db I was able to drop that down to about 66 with two layers Kilmatt 80mil

Kilmat Car Sound Deadening Mats

Easy to install in a vehicle! Helps keep the heat out as well as keeping it quieter inside my car. Self sticking to the inside of the roof without strong smelling adhesives. The quality of these pieces work very well in my vehicle!

Excellent Sound Deadening Material!

I installed Kilmat Sound Deadening in my truck, and I’m extremely impressed with the results. The material is thick, pliable, and easy to cut to fit doors, floor panels. It sticks very well to metal surfaces and doesn’t peel, even after heating it slightly to make it more flexible. After installation, I immediately noticed a reduction in road noise and vibrations. Worth the money!!

A Must Have For Car Restorations!

I have been installing this matting in my 74 Datsun 260Z restore and very pleased with the ease of application and overall quality. My car has bedliner coating inside and this stuff sticks extremely well and is easy to trim and shape as well. I have just started installing it and using the rollers to work it in place but I can already tell a difference with just the little bit I have added....has reduced the resonance in the metal already. It's not a fast process but know it will be very rewarding once complete.

Great sound mat for the price!

This is a good product. Many people go with KILMAT because of the value to price point. I did as well. When you clean the surface (in my case it was all painted metal) this stuff sticks very well. I do recommend you use a seam roller of some type, I used Lumiteco 3 piece roller set. This will help with adhesion and mostly flatten the overlapped edges. It also helps you see where you have rolled as it leaves little grooves. The difference when we had no sound mats and after was very impressive. We haven't finished our install yet and it is quieter than when we had an interior in the van. There are thicker mats available in other brands, but this will work great for our van build, but this helps keep the weight down. It is quality material, just be careful when you are removing the backing, the edge of the foil face can cut you. I suggest you layout where you are installing the mat and cut to fit. From what I have read, you don't need to cover every inch in the vehicle, just spot install for a big difference. I chose to cover most surfaces to help keep sound out when we are sleeping in the van. We haven't finished putting the van yet, but we have driven it around and been very satisfied with this product.
