Gibson's distinguished Custom Shop guitars represent a pinnacle in craftsmanship and musicality. This shining model straight from Gibson's Master Luthiers presents an unmatched experience for musicians across the world.

The late 1950s, a "golden era" for Gibson, produced many innovative and impressive instruments for the name. To celebrate the legacy of such an era, this Gibson Custom Shop produced this aptly designed Goldtop Darkback 1957 Les Paul Reissue. An instrument of stellar presentation and tone, this guitar is simply outstanding.

The guitar starts with period-accurate recreated body and neck. Built to replicate vintage Gibson construction techniques and materials, the iconic Les Paul comes together with a two-piece plain maple top and one-piece lightweight mahogany body. A solid mahogany neck plants firmly in hand with its "Chunky C-Shape" profile. An Indian rosewood fingerboard is comfortable to play across its entire length from resonant chords to soaring leads.

To build upon the iconic vintage Les Paul experience, this Custom Shop features a finish from the distinguished Gibson Custom Shop Murphy Lab. Scientifically engineered to replicate a delicately loved and well-aged nitrocellulose lacquer Les Paul finish, this guitar has a distinct look and feel that can only be found coming out of 1957 or from the Gibson Custom Shop's Murphy Lab collection.

The classic Les Paul humbucking voice is produced by a pair of Custombucker Alnico 3 unpotted pickups. With these electronics, a replicated sound is produced for any Gibson fan to enjoy. Player to listener, this Les Paul is tonally impeccable. Further hardware appointments make this Les Paul an authentic recreation down to the last detail. An ABR-1 bridge with a lightweight aluminum stop bar tailpiece creates stable intonation and seamless tuning. An Authentic 1950s No-Tube truss rod and Kluson single line tuning machines make this instrument's construction all the more real and distinct.

Paired with a classy Gibson Brown/Pink Lifton Reissue five-latch case, a mounted Custom Shop switch plate medallion, and a certificate of authenticity, this Custom Shop creation comes together beautifully from the moment it's seen. Gibson's Custom Shop creations are not only functional masterworks of electric guitar design and craftsmanship, but venerable works of art as well. For many fans and players worldwide, only a Gibson is good enough.

Pretty funny
Format: Hardcover
The book gives us a more focused outlook on Chieg Wiggum. Full of its funny moments, I`d recomend this to huge Simpsons fans as it seems the shows writers managed to give us another hit.

Not the best, but not the worst either
Format: Hardcover
By any means not the funniest book in the series, only the one on Krusty the Clown was more un-funny; but still a worthy addition to your collection and, just like all the others from the series providing a retrospective of anecdotes you might have forgotten.

Not that great
Huge "The Simpsons" fan. I watched all the episodes and read a lot of the comics and enjoy most. This one however was quite boring. Turns out I'm just not a big fan of Chief Wiggum. I really enjoyed The "Homer" and "Bart" book. But not this one. Maybe if you love Wiggum you'll love it. If you're not too fond of him then I wouldn't buy it.

Good for my collection.
Format: Hardcover
This was another quick and entertaining read. This instalment wasn't as enjoyable as some of the other books but it was still good. I'm glad to have it in my collection.
