The 24 intermediate solos in this collection showcase a diverse array of composers who shaped their era's musical landscape. This compilation promises a rich and inspiring musical experience for developing players, exploring the music of notable writers (including ten women composers) such as Enrique Granados, Florence Price, Rentar? Taki, Samuel Coleridge-Taylor, and José White. While some key signatures and ranges have been changed to make each piece accessible, every effort has been made to preserve the spirit and integrity of the original work. In some pieces, optional cue-size notes in a different octave are included to facilitate ease of playing by the respective player and instrument. A piano accompaniment book is available to ensure a successful performance.

Pretty Goodp
Format: Paperback
Superman is kinda boring here, but writing has strong humor and art has distinctively cartoony feel. I think the vibe works, but characterization of Big Blue is underbaked.

If you are reading the description on Amazon, don't worry, it includes the Annual. Not sure why they decided to not mention that detail. You should read Action Comics 1050 before reading this, as it sets up the new status quo for Superman going forward, and is important to know in this book if you're coming from earlier Superman stories. This is pretty interesting stuff so far, a lot of familiar Superman villains are appearing with new twists provided by new players in Metropolis, who seem to have a vendetta against Lex Luthor, or so Lex is claiming. Looking forward to seeing how this plays out in future volumes.
